Setup DOSBox on your Raspberry Pi

If you have an interest in playing some of the old DOS based games – such as Prince of Persia, 4D Sport Boxing, Lode Runner or Lemmings (there are tens of thousands of DOS games out there) then Gus over at PI My Life Up has written a great tutorial on how to do it. This is a standalone install and doesn’t require anything like RetroPie or RecalBox to be preinstalled.

What is need for this includes:

  • Raspberry Pi (obviously)
  • 8GB+ Micro SD Card or 8 GB SD Card (For old versions of the Pi such as version 1)
  • Ethernet Cord or Wifi dongle (Raspberry Pi 3 has built-in WiFi)
  • USB Keyboard
  • USB Mouse
